HEATHER! It’s so good to see you here. I mean, twitter is great and all, but LJ will always be home to me :) (I don’t even want to hear about Tumblr, I guess I’ve become an old lady but that place is just not for me! It’s shiny and pretty but it doesn’t have enough substance). I am glad to hear that you’ll try to be around more, I’ve missed you here and reading your posts has always been a pleasure :)

And of course, I already knew about all your big changes. That’s so great, girl, I am happy that things are working out for you. It’s a shame that you had to drop Hot Mess Press, but sometimes, in order to live the life you want and achieve your dreams you have to make hard choices. You totally deserve all these good things that are happening to you -and I hope there are more in the future! Btw, no wonder you are loving NY, it’s such a fantastic place. I was there like 10 years ago (OMG!) and I was utterly fascinated. I really want to return someday.

Also, about shippy stuff. Pilots forever and ever of course, but I am at a similar place right now. I will always love them, but I’ve reached a point where I feel like I’ve said all I had to say about them (though I still read fic and I love that N_T is fairly active. This fandom is the best <3). And I see that you ship Kalinda/Cary, too! Girl, I feel so cheated this season!! I mean, I do love the show, but the writers promised THINGS and I am not seeing any Kalinda/Cary interaction lately. Grrrr. I hope they don’t drop the ship completely because I loved what they did with them is S2. And Johanna/Gale is great (I still have to read poppypickle's new fic but I am sure I'll love it) but it’s not that I can ship them, you know, properly. I mean, they are not even canon and I am so lame that I only can ship, like really ship, canonical pairings. Sad but true :(

(And I am not saying much about me because, really? Last year ended tragically and this one… well, let’s see how it goes. I try to stay optimistic, but it’s difficult given the awful situation in my country. But I am hoping things will improve sooner or later. They have to, I am working really hard!).

I am really really hoping we'll get more Cary/Kalinda from tonight onward because I agree with you 100% -- we've been cheated! They had that AMAZING scene in, what, November? And then...nothing! It makes no sense. Also, I was SO SURE I saw them making out or SOMETHING in a promo back in November or December but that never happened. So I'm not sure if I was making that up or if it got cut or what... Very weird.

I understand what you mean about Jo/Gale. I'm usually like that too. But I wanted so much for Gale to have a better ending and Poppy writes them so beautifully that you can't help but start to consider her stuff, like, extensions of canon.

I know you've had a really tough time of it and I am so very sorry. You're going back to school now, right? I'm so glad you're staying positive and just making the best you can of the situation. I admire you so much and I just KNOW that things will turn around for you. *hugs*
