Evicted
How quickly did she change the locks? Less than a week. I've been evicted from far better places than my mom's but this one stung a bit because I expected more of her. She laid it all out there, said that I should find somewhere else to live, and even suggested the YMCA. I found somewhere - my girlfriend's - but that was coincidental. We're in love and the distance was killing us, so I moved in. My mom seemed positive about that move but when it came time for me to pick up some of my stuff she opted to play games. I'm inclined to write the whole thing off, to cut and run, but I really want my computer and some of my other effects so I'll give it one more honest shot. That's the best I can do.
