That's cool about Ray Park--we're still seriously behind on Heroes, but we recently bought Season 3 and are going to try to rectify that soon. And about the "evolved" humans, it would be cool if they turned to crystal like the Selenians (I always mess up and call them Selenites) do. :)
I'd never thought about the points you brought up about onscreen portrayal of piano playing, but they're good ones. And agreed about "Heart and Soul"...that and "Chopsticks." :-P :)
Hmm, Sylar vs. Vader...I guess it would come down to whether strangulation or psychic skull-sawing worked faster. But doesn't Sylar have Claire's healing ability after Season 3? That might give him an advantage. Another question: if he did win, would he be able to extract Vader's Force powers from his head?

I think he would. But whether he'd be the one standing at the end is tough to call.
Sylar can stop bullets, which means his telekinetic powers are a step above Vader's, and he's got lightning abilities - something we know Vader has a weakness to - and the ability to heal/regenerate from injuries.
On the other hand, Vader's lightsaber and Force-attuned reflexes could make both the lightning, and the telekinetic hurling of objects useless. He also has mind-affecting abilities, although Sylar has proven to be very strong-willed against that sort of thing.
Which just proves I've put way too much thought into this....
