Ms. Merlino isn't a monster. Media coverage has been less than accurate (full of lies, I should say). Why do we want to turn people into monsters? Sensationalism must be great for heartless, corporation-type folk. Please reserve judgement on her and the situation. It's less than it appears ( Read more... )

I haven't seen any coverage, but the articles I read kept it close to the point. She is a well liked teacher at SSS, she is accused of a crime and has been charged.

Thanks for posting this, Jodi. She isn't anywhere near a monster. I wish they hadn't posted her photograph and name; that seemed really low to me, especially considering that nothing has been proven. Sensationalism is evil.
