For our lessons on demographics and classification, the social studies teachers and the youth counselor have informed me that my survey on deceased and missing loved ones which sorted fellow students into the Kubler-Ross stages of grieving was invasive and socially unacceptable.

I was more interested in reactions to loss than to death itself, but that nuance appears to have been missed.

They're not so simple to separate. The death of a loved one brings fresh suffering and loss, along with the reminder of our own mortality.

I'm not sure what that means, but reminder of how they lost a loved one causes suffering because of the former loss. You could have trigger that.

The humans I dealt with for the majority of my existence were only offended by theological statements or political criticisms that highlighted their limitations.

I believe both Ayanami and Ikari were different, but I had insufficient time to understand.

Still, Ikari did as I requested, so I must believe we were reconciled at our parting.
