When: Last Saturday night (pretend this was up then, the way I meant it to be. cough cough.)
Where: Tim and Poland's apartment.
What: Tim Drake, former classy millionaire and eternal geek, tries to throw a college party.
Who: Pretty much anybody who wants to show up, honestly, but the signs advertising it will have been on campus.

Though there was nothing she was wearing that was immediately indicative of her gender, she was rather surprised to see that no other girls up to that point had arrived yet, but also disappointed. Aside from her host club friends, she didn't really know anyone, and this being her first real party, she had no idea what she was supposed to do. Being an unknown, she likely wasn't about to be harassed. Maybe bumped into by one of those guys who were drinking, but directly harassed? Nah. Hopefully soon someone she knew would show up and she'd feel less awkward and out of place.]

Tim calls across the room, currently caught between Poland and Nathan in some sort of apparently awkward conversation. Extricating himself, and trying not to feel to disapproving of a high school kid (he's pretty sure) at a party like this, he smiles and offers a hand.]
Tim Drake. You look a little lost.

Yeah, just a little. I've never been to something like this before. I'm... not really sure what I should be doing with myself. Fujioka Haruhi. It's nice to meet you.

[By quietest he means least drunk, and he hopes Haruhi understands that. Also, wow. That's quite a smile. It reminds him a little bit of... well, several people, actually. Kon at his Kansas-farmboy best, for one. After a moment, he becomes aware of the fact that he's not quite sure if Haruhi is a boy or a girl.]

Thank you. Um... I was supposed to be meeting a couple of my friends here. You haven't seen a.. kind of tall blond guy walking around, have you? I think he said he was supposed to be bringing a cheese plate...

[Tim looks a little embarrassed.]
Last I saw, he was trying to hide in the towel cupboard by the bathroom. I don't think he really knew what he was getting into.

[Haruhi's mind was filled with the tall, leggy Tamaki trying to cram himself into a tiny cabinet to hide himself... and potentially whatever bizarre costume he'd decided would be party appropriate.]
I'll... go fix him. I'm sorry if he caused any trouble. [And with that, Haruhi decided to try and go find her fellow host.]

Sempai? Are.. you all right?

This... is not the kind of party that Daddy thought it would be...

I tried to warn you, Sempai. Sorry it's not really what you thought it would be, but that doesn't mean you can't have fun, right? [she gives him her best smile.] There's a lot to do, so maybe we can find something to do together?

[Tamaki's pouty, hopeful face; let him show you it.]

[Haruhi smiles softly at him and rises to her feet, offering her hand to help pull him up.]
I think I heard the host say there were movies playing somewhere? Unless you want to get something to drink... I don't really know how these parties go.
