He's so lame!
Well, just as I am getting my confidence back to ride my horse, he goes lame. We were having an awesome lesson today, I was trotting some 20m circles working on his bending. I know this doesn't sound like much but it is a HUGE deal for me! We were going round a corner and all of a sudden I notice that he just feels "off". My instructor had me trot him around a little more and sure enough...he's lame. Ugh, frustrating! She thinks he may have an abscess. The vet will be out Monday to see him. Until then...foot soaking:
