Predeparture post..
This will most likely be my last post before I head back to the States. I've got one more day after today, and then I leave Italia! I'll definitely miss the culture and the lifestyle here, but the people.. not so much. My roommates are even worse than my last one.. they're just completely inconsiderate.. and a lot of other things that I'll save for a less public journal. :P But I did have a wonderful time, especially with Rachel! Yay for theatre people!! I had an awesome time in Paris. I'll put pics on facebook eventually.. there's just so many, and I was stupid and didn't bring my laptop here. But I suppose it's a good thing because then I would have needed another bag in addition to the one I already bought here.. I'd only brought one bag, and of course I bought so much stuff that I filled up another suitcase that I got here. I went to the Chinese store downstairs.. I swear they have everything.. and relatively cheap.. compared to the rest of Siena.. Italia.. Europe.. lol.. I am such a purse whore. I got two new purses here. One in Paris, and one here that is real leather.. mmmm smells good! Plus a leather wallet that is SO soft.. I'm almost afraid to use it. Got some clothes.. no shoes though. I can't wear stilettos.. I fall over just trying to stand in them! >< I don't get how people walk in those, especially on cobblestone.. course my roommates have fallen several times, and I can't help but laugh.. on the inside anyways.. hmm oh glass from Murano in Venice.. can't believe I got it on the actual island where they make it!! I so want that set of goblets that they had there.. soo beautiful! But I'm happy with what I got.. got people stuff from all over the place.. sent postcards..
Only thing I can't take with me is the amazing food.. but at least I can make it myself. I have complete instructions on how to make certain dishes.. yay for cooking class! And bruschetta is the most amazing thing on earth. And I'll miss the coffee here.. I need a cappuccino maker! hehe.. I still laugh at that.. totally like Father of the Bride.. except not getting married any time soon. :P But yeah those of you who have seen it.. I guess just Jen Jen.. but yeah been to Rome.. want a cappuccino maker. Lol.. well I'm amused by it.. guess it's because I'm easily amused! Oh and that trail ride was definitely one of the best parts of this entire trip. That was just so much fun!
Well I suppose I should go study for my two finals tomorrow.. although my written final today was SO easy.. which was a little scary considering the tests are normally a lot harder than that.. but oh well, I shan't complain! Can't wait to get back though.. I definitely got bitten by the traveling bug though.. so much stuff I want to do when I get back! Well I should go study.. and see if I missed anything while I was packing.. I almost forgot my water filter thingy.. but I remembered today.. it's in the kitchen and I haven't been using it lately so I forgot it was there. But I'm pretty sure that's the only thing that isn't in my room.
And on to studying!
