(no subject)
Tuesdays are nice. I have the entire day off and now I just finished 1/2 an hour of stairs and doing laundry. I got the wierdest work schedule and I have some german stuff to do this week. Calc is just another two bits. Nothing much new there. i have to look over some theorems.
I was working over halloween. Crazy crap and all. I just barely got out of the downtown before things got crazy. So i walk from Franklin st. in downtown chapel hill to home five miles south. I start walking down franklin and i had my pack with me stuff because I came from school. So off course chapel hill police think that the most supicious thing walking around a costume filled street in a college town is a person appearing to be a student, e.i. pack, sweatshirt, mp3 in khakis and cross training shoes. So they tell me to stop and check my pack for dangerous or suspicious items. The world would feel much safer knowing that the only thing dangerous in my pack was a 3 ring binder that has a ring that does not meet right. The danger of some one getting a finger caught in that could be the prelude to a massive world war...
I just find it wierd considering I walked through the secuirity check point at the airport in raliegh, RDU, with a curved five-inched-blade folding knife in my carry, unintentionally, without a siren or any fuss from anyone but I get stopped on an open street for minding my own business. I know it is there job but a student versus any other person there? Please....
