Plan.. Failed.
So.... last night I got the kids a metric fudge ton of chocolate, and a half a cup of pop along with their pizza dinner in hopes that, well.... they'd have a sugar rush so bad I'd be able to sleep in in the morning and while THAT worked, I... forgot today was my twenty second. Thus... I woke up at 6:30 as per my norm, walked around, did dishes and some laundry, got another box packed away, called my aunty to talk sewing stuff so I could get help with the dress I'm sewin.... and right before I hang up she goes 'Happy Birthday honey.'
Me: "What? It's... my birthday?"
In the end I hear her drop the phone and laughing and I'm sitting there going "NO WONDER THE BOYS HAVE BEEN ASLEEP!" See... I forgot about the sugar rush plan and everything in my groggy I just woke up-ish-ness. So here it is Seven Thirty-ish and I'm too wide awake to go back to sleep. GOOD JOB SHERI!
Mena would likely comment on my Fail-ness but I'd totally deserve it today. How do I forget my friggin BIRTHDAY!? (Ten dollars to the dime my husband forgets it too!)
Oh well.
My baby cousin had her baptisim yesterday. (I -really- don't approve of Children doing that since I think they are too dang young to know what religion they want to follow or really believe... But it's special to her and her parents) Some well known-ish christian singer was there so that made it double special for the lil sweety. Poor thing got so embarassed to be infront of a bunch'a people apparently though that she froze for a bit and cried after she got offa the stage and out of the baptismal pool.
Well... I'm gonna go back and sew a bit to chillax I think. If my MiL Comes home and bitches about my not having the room day I'll remind her it's my birthday and just shrug it all off.
I'll post later if anything else I do can top off forgetting a B-Day.

OMG I HAVEN'T HEARD THIS SONG IN FOREVER! And I love it just as much now as I did then ZOMG! <3 <3 <3
