Holy shit, we just had an earthquake and my desk fell apart.
This included a brief but spirited argument amongst my coworkers. "Get down!" "No, get under your desk!" "That's for air raids!" "No, stand in a doorway! I'm pretty sure it's doorways!"
*brief scramble for three people to stand in a doorway-- since one is five months pregnant, this worked as well as you might expect.*
And now, I am sitting here trying to call Louise and wondering if we get to go home early. Weird that the internet is working but cell phone reception is shot.
