Bert & Ernie getting married?
A coworker just asked me about this online petition to get Bert & Ernie married? Really? Really? Like I am involved with kids puppets? In any sense of the word? Idiots. Guess the media decided to shift the focus away from the riots in England, the world wide stock market fluctuations, and our congress lack of ability to get anything accomplished. So let's start talking about kids puppets.
Rough week and thankful to have the weekend almost upon us. Was in emergency room most of last Monday while doctors tried to find out if my partner was having a stroke. Long story short he wasn't. All tests negative. No brain issues, no heart issues, and major arteries NOT blocked. He got a clean bill of health and was discharged the next morning. Better safe than sorry and stroke symptoms are NEVER to be ignored. Neither are heart attack symptoms. Anyway, life getting back to normal now.
Temperatures lowering a bit. Perhaps we can actually enjoy outdoor activity for the remainder of summer?
The elephant in the blog?
Last 4 and 1/2 months have been misery for me. The worst misery encountered in my entire life. New medication and counseling only helps so much. Prayer? Stay busy? Take it from me, misery takes it's own sweet time in destroying your happiness. No real answers. I took the last 2 weeks off work, mostly to work in yards and ready the house for sell by painting and stuff like that. Not much more to do before putting the For Sale sign up. Carpet and vinyl flooring installed yesterday.
I need to borrow my brother's truck in the next few weeks to finish clearing out the house.
