Anniversary gift.....um........decent!
So I just had my 30th anniversary with my employer and starting at 20 years, at 5 year increments, you get a catalog to choose an anniversary gift. The catalog is only 4 pages long, and this year I choose the luggage. We have luggage at home, but the other gifts, well, not so good. The Jewelry consisted of watches, both male and female, and female jewelry. The 2 strand pearl necklace was pretty nice, but not something I would wear.
So the luggage looked like the best gift and that is what I chose for myself. Now, I just need to use it and take a trip. But that isn't going to happen anytime soon.
I have got to reduce my spending from shopping so much. It's nothing for me to spend a hundred dollars at the spur of the moment. I actually can't think of anything I really need now. Things I want........well that's another story for another time.
I think now I should put my money toward some traveling. I very much want to return to England, and would like to see Switzerland and Rome. Someday I hope.
Life is much better this week and I am most grateful.
