See Blind Lemming Chiffon's LJ post June 26.

I just posted this on my Facebook page:

On Oct. 1, 2014, Chris Cox of Facebook posted an apology to
the affected community of drag queens, drag kings, transgender, and extensive community of our friends, neighbors, and members of the LGBT community for the hardship that we've put you through in dealing with your Facebook accounts over the past few weeks.

...
Our policy has never been to require everyone on Facebook to use their legal name. The spirit of our policy is that everyone on Facebook uses the authentic name they use in real life. For Sister Roma, that's Sister Roma. For Lil Miss Hot Mess, that's Lil Miss Hot Mess.

Sounds good, dunnit? Too bad they're not doing it.

Meanwhile Fayke Nayme (seven eight of them), and Fayke Perrson have no trouble keeping their accounts. This entry was originally posted at http://thnidu.dreamwidth.org/1417171.html. You can comment here, or there using OpenID or your Dreamwidth ID.
