It was a good 4th of July weekend.
We went up to the farm where we got married to spend time with family. I haven't been out of town in far too long, it seems. I was looking forward to getting away. July will likely remedy this wanderlust as I have a trip almost every weekend. My inner homebody chafes at the idea.
But for this weekend it was good. All I seemed to do was eat, sleep, and blow stuff up. Which I guess is what the 4th is for.
Simply, it was good to relax and reconnect.
