A glorious Saturday
So raencloud helped me a bunch by packing up my kitchen today. I am totally indebted to her for her help. I got us bbq, though, so I hope that makes up for the lashes (hehehe!)
The weather here is gorgeous today. This week was hot and, of course, the hottest day was the day I moved the bulk of my stuff. It rained last night, a rain of the good soaking variety, and today is luminescent with puffy clouds and reasonable temperatures. It fills my new apartment with sunshine and makes the old place seem that much drearier. I won't miss living there.
I have at least tentatively figured out the Internet at my new apartment (I type this just as my connection dies again). I sent an email to the appropriate people to get my MAC address recognized by the network; I hope that alleviates the drops.
Otherwise, after doing a good amount of work today, I am entitled to sitting on my butt for the remainder of the glorious day, letting the sun shine in me and a good book.
