Thoughts on Tiger Woods

He fooled around on his spouse. It happens. It has always happened and it will always continue to happen. It's slimy and sucks for the family. But unlike our "esteemed" politicians and religious leaders, he never stood up in front of the senate or a congregation and berated people for their poor morals and he doesn't owe the public anything. And the rest of the world laughs at us as we wrap ourselves around our hypocritical, puritanical axle.

Watching the man play golf on television does not create a contract giving the viewer any rights or privileges whatsoever. He shouldn't have to apologize to anyone but his wife and that should NOT have to happen in front of seven billion people.

We don't want anyone in the business of who we can love or what goes on behind our closed doors. Why is it ok for us to be in the business of demanding that every celebrity explain their business behind closed doors to us????

We have REAL problems and issues that are not being addressed (children hungry and without a safe place to sleep, genocide, war, the economy). Having a "Camp Tiger" set up on every corner makes me worry more for this country than I already do.
