Adventures in Babysitting
We got a babysitter last night for the first time since....well I can't even remember since when. Ever since Grammy moved here we have been spared the expense and effort of hiring babysitters. But since Grammy is out of town, we had to find someone to watch the children so we could go hang out with our motorcycle gang. We found a good one -- a young woman with a Masters in Education who can't find a teaching job. Aislin LOVED her and Eilie went to bed easily and early.
When we got home, the babysitter gave us the run-down of the evening. They played at the park, had dinner, everyone brushed their teeth and went to bed without complaint. Aislin informed the babysitter that she had really big boobs. Which is true, but, time for another conversation with Aislin about the impropriety of personal remarks!
While the babysitter was managing our children, Lon and I went to the Alien Hellride -- the Ton Up club was very kind to accommodate me and my little 50cc's. Even if they did leave me in the dust as they roared into Lake Shore Drive. We didn't get to see the Haunted House but we did meet up with them at The Bottom Lounge for fish n' chips and a very weird movie from the 70's called Psychomania.
