Yuck
Call it the Gift of Kindergarten. Aislin brought home some upper respiratory bug that hit her at about Force 1, then Eilie got it at about Force 3 and now me at Force 10. I am so so very sick. Hacking, coughing, sinus headache like you wouldn't believe. DISLIKE. I better be fine by Saturday because me and husband have a date for a really fun-sounding Halloween Zombie themed motorcycle riding party. My adorable Honda Super Cub is now legally plated and ready to ride!
My glasses broke and I am wearing them with only one arm. Just in time for me to get a terrible cold complete with dry, itchy eyes! I haven't been wearing my contacts much as it is because I have some autoimmune thing where my eyes are super dry. I can't afford the treatment though (Restasis) so I have just been wearing my glasses and now they are broken. A new pair will cost me about $600 so I think I'll just get the pair that I have fixed. To do that I have to take them downtown to the shop where I bought them and ugh -- the effort involved. I just don't want to do it. Not while I have to drag my ill self and my ill child down there on the EL. No thanks. I'll just wear them all wonky until I feel better.
