Kindergarten!

I can't believe how well Aislin's doing in Kindergarten. No, I actually I can. She thrives in that element. Every day she comes home with a new song, a new concept, or a new idea. But if you ask her "what did you learn in school today?" she will say "I don't know." Apparently there is a "feeling center" at school which I gather is a sort of Time

Do they really not call Time Out "Time Out" anymore or is the feeling center a second place?
I still can't believe she has homework.

Her teacher doesn't do Time Out. I gather The Feeling center is a pleasant time out replacement.

Apparently the 1st graders do book reports at Annie's school, but they looked completely student done. All the grade had their reports posted on the hall walls. I had a good time today looking at them.

Annie loved swimming lessons this summer. I'm probably going to start her back with them in the spring.
