a series of unrelated things
1. Returned from my driving lesson today (go me and backing into a parking space! Woohoo! Got it after seven tries!) to find a package waiting for me on the kitchen table. Since it's Sunday, I was very curious. What did it turn out to be? A giant envelope full of handmade Christmas cards from my former second-graders! *melts* It was so unexpected and so incredibly, incredibly sweet... I was practically in tears reading through all them. I can't get over the sweetness. Oh, minna! I want to do something for all of them. Obviously, I need to make them a big glittery card, but I want to send something along with it. But what? What can I get here that they can't get in Japan? Cool stickers? They're not allowed to have sweets in school so that's out. Any ideas? Please let me know! I want to get this done quickly! Oh my god, the love. *sends huggles and hanko stamps out to all the little darlings*

2. The RotK soundtrack is very pretty, but why oh why must Gollum be on the little insert that came with the jewel case? I ordered it from Amazon so I didn't get to pick, but given the choice, I would not have chosen Gollum. He's a cool character and all, but he's so very...unpretty. Could I not have been given Aragorn or Legolas or Faramir or Eowyn or one of the lovely hobbits preferably Sam or Pippin? *g* Any Gollum-fangirls want to trade...?

3. I have such a craving right now for chocolate chip cookies and I can't have them because there's no flour or sugar with which to make them. In fact, there's very little of anything left in this house. :(

4. How old is Bill Weasley supposed to be? Because if he's the same age as Tonks, "Bill and Tonks' Excellent Adventure" can take place when they're at Hogwarts together and it can be about a joint History of Magic project that becomes a little...extensive. This story might actually be a lot of fun to write. I'll have to think about it some more. Input is a fantastic thing. :)
