Yesterday, I went to the Como Park Zoo, which was very nice, even though it's a small zoo. The Emperor Tamarins were so cute and I swear the mama Orangutan was showing off her baby and there were zebras and a tiger and lions and sea lions and a seal and a tortoise and gorillas and flamingos. Then I went to Fasika, my favorite Ethiopian restaurant. Mmm, spicy goodness. So, yesterday was nice.
I finished writing my kisslets. Thank you, everyone, for the fun prompts.
I wrote:
Homecoming (Doctor Who | Tom/Martha | PG | 290 words) <-- I'd like to write more adventures for Tom and Martha, but I'm blanking on plots at the moment.
Our Floundering Fathers (1776 | Thomas/Martha | mature | 130 words) <-- This was not a request. It just sort of happened.
Sunlight On Your Path (Buffyverse | Willow/Tara | safe for all ages | 200 words)
When the Going Gets Tough (Battlestar Galactica | Roslin/Adama | pretty tame | 340 words)
If the Moon Should Fall From the Sky (Buffyverse | Buffy/Xander | tame | 340 words)
Confessions (Harry Potter | Ron/Hermione | Mature | 450 words)
Today, I don't really know what to do with myself. I finished my book (All The Fishes Come Home To Roost by Rachel Manija Brown, which I recommend - it's an alternately funny and heartbreaking account of an American girl growing up in an Indian ashram). I should clean the house, but I don't really want to because we're having guests over next Saturday so I'm just going to have to do it again on Friday. I should drag myself to the gym.
