I bet Crookshanks was the Potters' cat, and that's why he loved Sirius.
Yay for Sirius buying Harry his first broom!
BOO for Remus. WTF, man? Either he's been Imperiused (PLEASE) or he really is the biggest twit. Abandoning his wife and baby and whining about how much he sucks? Yeah, you do suck! Begging your former students to let you tag along? Give me a break! Half-breed? Maybe there's some truth to that, Remus Lupin, because if you're not Imperiused, then you're not half the man either Sirius or James was.
The thing is, now I really want him to live, so he can redeem himself because my goodness. Everyone who's ever cared for him deserves better. What in the world does Tonks see in him?
I don't want him to die trying to redeem himself.
*grumble*
On the other hand, Ron and Hermione are killing me with their sweetness. Falling asleep holding hands? *melt* The compliments. The book. "Always the tone of surprise." I love how there's no big revelation, relatively little awkwardness around Harry. They're just together, more or less.
Nice seeing Krum again. Loved his line about the futility of being an international Quidditch star if all the good-looking girls are already taken. I was kind of hoping he'd ask Luna to dance.
I can't believe we've had 200+ pages without Neville. I know he's not close to anyone outside school, but I miss him. I suspect he'll turn up later.
