So, no more Hanukkah until next year. I got to open my presents last night. From my mom's boyfriend and his family I got two gift certificates for used book stores in Saint Paul, which is great because you can get a lot of used books for $30. From my mom, I got a scarf. At first glance this may not seem impressive, but I have a bit of a scarf (the woolen kind) fetish, and this one is in the Crawford tartan. If you're a Dorothy Dunnett fan, you know why this is cool. Oh, and there was the Hugh poster from Dan. Not a bad haul. Better than last year, in fact. Er, not that I'm materialistic. (Well, ok, actually, I am.)

Anyway, pictures...

Liam and Sophie (These two get along, as do Mei Mei and Will. Sophie still hates Mei, and Will still hates Liam. Go figure. Liam, at least, is wise enough to stear clear of Will. After a month, Mei hasn't figured out that going anywhere near Sophie is a bad idea. Yesterday Sophie came to me with a scratch on her nose. I sincerely hope it was Mei who did that. ^_^ )

Liam getting ready to be pounced on by Sophie. (They do fight, but she doesn't snarl and hiss at him. ^_^ )

Sophie's first snowfall

She kept pawing at the snowflakes as they fell past the window.

Emily, our 2yo part-Border Collie, part-Golden Retriever, modeling her bandana (which she lost soon thereafter)

She's so pretty!

Oh, puppypuppypuppy!

Mmm, four years ago today I arrived in Paris. It was my first time in a non-English speaking country, and I remember just being blown away by the prettiness of the city. I remember walking at night with one of my good friends, and her telling me to stop where I was, and very slowly turn to the left. I did, and there right down the street was the Eiffel Tower, all lit up for Christmas. Mmmmm. /reminiscing
