Apparently I am writing The White Queen fanfic now. I guess it was inevitable, ever since it was revealed that Aneurin Barnard has freckles on his shoulders. (Which is basically what this story is all about. Well, no, it's also about Anne, whom I like a lot.)
So, that's what I did over Labor Day weekend. I also made some progress on my Santana/Brittany road trip story. I got fresh peaches from Alyson's Orchard and made a cobbler, which came out deliciously. (I froze half of it, since I already have a strawberry rhubarb pie and I'm going to be making an apple cake for Rosh Hashanna. Though I'm going to share the latter with my co-workers because I'm nice.) I did laundry.
I watched "Mary Poppins" and decided that if Mary and Wonder Woman were ever to team up, nothing bad would happen to anyone ever again.
I went for two bike rides, which were mostly yucky since it's so ridiculously humid.
I've been having trouble sleeping. Once I'm asleep I tend to stay asleep until my alarm rings or the cats start bouncing on me. It's the getting to sleep part that's hard. Last night, I tossed and turned until 2am. I don't know if there's just too much on my mind these days, or what. Anyway, I'm exhausted and I have to teach a class in two hours and I don't feel prepared, and ugh.
