Holy crap, I'm bored.

I wonder if my brother would like this shirt. Since he's frequently ranting to me about that very thing. So hard to tell with him, though.

Hmm, a meme.

The care and feeding of me. )

There is a strong feeling in the force that he would indeed love that shirt.

And yes, Han did shoot first.

Some days at the reference desk I want to direct certain patrons to Let Me Google That For You so very badly.

Some of our patrons don't have computers or don't know how to use them. Still. I Googled "astrological symbols" and "Vatican flood" and there it was.

Oh, yeah, those patrons are great to help! The ones that frustrate me into wishing LMGTFY was an option tend to be students who want you to do their paper research for them.

Damn kids. :)

The worst are the library science students who want you to look stuff up for them. Uh, guys? No.

Dan used to be easier to shop for, but we haven't lived in close proximity for so long that I don't know what he has. Like, he wants the DVDs. I told him they were available. I don't know if he went and bought them for himself, and I can't ask him since that would spoil the surprise. *pout* Men.

*I* like the shirt.

but hate the idea of anyone calling me to discuss said job or give me an interview.

OMG, me too! Why can't they just hire us after reading our awesome resumes and cover letters?

I *almost* accidentally repeated a gift to my best friend. Turned out the pin I got her like 10 years ago (and totally forgot about) matched the pendant I'd just bought for her. I AM AWESOME.

I honestly don't know why these hiring committees feel they need to meet me in person before hiring me. I say eliminate that step! ;)

Where exactly on the floor of the Vatican? Since it's not exactly small :D

In his library/archive, apparently! The woman didn't want to know where they were, just that they were there. :P

A friend in Japan: "Can you eat jellyfish?"
Me: "Give me a jellyfish and we'll see."

I love you for just saying it. I'm not sure I could do it depending on what it looks like or is covered in, but heck it's always worth a shot. ^_^

Iirc, they looked like soft contact lenses and were kind of tasteless. Though I think they'd been pickled. They weren't squishy, which I probably wouldn't have enjoyed.
