(no subject)
I'm suddenly daunted by this story I'm writing. It's an angsty little sucker, but that's not the problem; the big fight scene's already been written. It's the fact that it covers so much territory. But at least I think I know how I want it to end. TRAGICALLY On a hopeful, but bittersweet note.
At least my next project is brief and cheerful. (space-married for Kirk/McCoy fans. I think it'll be fun!)

I keep hearing this cat crying somewhere outside. Like, insistently. I went looking for her this afternoon, but I couldn't find her. Poor thing. I hope she hasn't been abandoned. Maybe she's just in heat.

I'm heading back down to Kenosha to work in the archive tomorrow. It'll be good to be doing something productive (I mean in a professional capacity) again, but I'm sad that the summer's nearly over.

The mayor of Milwaukee got attacked by some dude with a pipe at the State Fair. Wtf? O_o
ETA: At least he's okay and the suspect's in custody. Wtf, Milwaukee?
