elites and retreats
hmmmm, yeah i got nothin friends...HALO2 has been consuming. When it came out on tuesday, well i played for a long long long long long long time. I didn't play the first one very much so i wasn't too good, but im gettin better every game so it rules. I like "nastying" kids up.
so, this past weekend was our fall retreat for church. Oh what fun that was. on the way up i got to sit next to an ooooooollllllldddd friend (old as in i haven't seen/tlaked to her in a while). Lauren and I spent the ride up talking, listening to GOOD music, and well, sleeping as best we could. We made the mkistake of sitting near the bathroom on the hot bus so, yeah it was pretty miserable.
the weekend was aweosme. I got greg and Seth in my group. It was good that greg and i got put into the same group. It was very healing for our firendship, just the 2 of us, hangin out and shootin the shit.
The guest speaker was good, and while it was a subject i've already leanred, it was good for discussion in my cabin.
We killed little kids at volleyball, held a good stan at UF and eventually made it to the lame-ass gym, but whatever. it was still good...what a great weekend in genral. Even though I got almsot no sleep, i would go back every week if i could. Within all the maddness, it was relaxing. Sitting on the balcony at niught with greg, drinknig our hot chocolate will remain a favorite memory of mine.
