so jer and i went to the sigur ros show at the boston opera house and it was fucking amazing. they now stand as the most fantastic band that i've ever seen live. there was an opening band with these four cute little icelandic girls playing random instruments - xylophone, saw, bells, etc. and they were great.
when sigur ros came out there was a giant sheer sheet hanging in front of the stage which gave an awesome lighting/shadowy effect.
the music was so overwhelming and intense. a few times i wanted to cry. we had perfect seats, third row center. jeremy is such a doll for taking me. :) i can't thank him enough!

in other news, i'm trying to get a job as a travel advisor. i think i'd be good at it and it sounds like a fun job, plus huge travel discounts. :D so hopefully something will pop up.
i am missing many things in my life right now, and yet i'm appreciating everyone and everything i still have.
