(i'm so sorry this is turning into an essay but i really like discussing stories that i like ; A ;)
oh and there's something that bothered me. around the time after kyungsoo decided he was going to get hitched to the choi princess to save his kingdom, kyungsoo and jongin slept together. i get that there was some unresolved sexual tension (bc jongin in white is <3) between the two, but kyungsoo was painted as a cautious, careful, calculating ruler. despite whatever whirlwind of feelings he has in his system, or no matter the advances from jongin's part, i didn't see him as the type to overstep his boundaries, especially committing something that could've jeopardized his potential alliance to the choi kingdom. so it sort of threw me of when he decided to make love with jongin in the story. maybe some transitioning between the sudden engagement and the kaisoo!smexytimes would've smoothed that out... that's just me though and i love you and your fic. but really, i just find kyungsoo's sudden decision to be wild and young and free (

- the whole "in another world" scene was actually... hmm, addressed right after? is that the right word for it lol but kyungsoo says, "I don't think so.... Maybe we were destined to always be together but not"- he looks down at their intertwined fingers and swallows thickly -"together." which meant that, no matter who they are, where they are, what they are, they will always be together but apart ;_; /weeps/ that was actually one of my fave parts to write simply because it broke my heart
