Jongin may still be a boy, but he can still be Kyungsoo's man. [for
chokolattae's prompt]
Kyungsoo had no idea why Jongin's been acting up so odd lately. The boy who usually left his clothes around, complained about cartoons, and begged for food was nowhere to be seen. Instead, some alien who looked like him replaced him. Said alien cleaned up after himself, watched TV like a sane person, and politely asked Kyungsoo to make him kimchi spaghetti.
It was all very suspicious.
But Kyungsoo didn't say anything about it. After all, there wasn't much to complain about a neater, calmer Jongin.
It wasn't until he saw a rather disturbing occurrence that he finally had to say something.
"Jongin, are you watching the news?" Kyungsoo choked out, almost dropping the bowl of popcorn he was holding.
Jongin turned to look at him, and Kyungsoo swore his eye twitched. "Yes, it's very... interesting." Kyungsoo stared. This was not Jongin, it just wasn't possible.
"You hate the news," he deadpanned. "Even when the manager turns on the news on the radio, you fall asleep or put in your headphones."
Jongin shrugged, eyes not meeting Kyungsoo's. "I can grow up, you know. I'm a mature, young man -"
Kyungsoo's laughter cut him off. Jongin turned to glare at him, but he faltered at the sight of Kyungsoo's smile. "Since when did you become a man?" Kyungsoo asked, grinning as he tossed a popcorn at Jongin.
Maybe Kyungsoo imagined it, but he could have sworn Jongin flushed red before turning back to the TV, gaze intent. He mumbled something under his breath that Kyungsoo couldn't make out. But assuming it was just Jongin being the kid he truly was, Kyungsoo just chuckled and took a seat beside him, putting down the bowl in front of them.
"Well, if you're a man, will you make your own food?" he asked, picking up a piece and tossing it at Jongin teasingly. He expects Jongin to turn and start laughing, but it doesn't happen and that worries Kyungsoo.
"You make Junmyeon food," Jongin mumbles under his breath, and Kyungsoo almost think he's imagining it.
Kyungsoo laughs in disbelief. "What does that have to do with anything?" he asks, confused.
"He's a man," Jongin says, turning to him with eyes so serious that Kyungsoo loses his smile.
"I - I guess? Why does it matter though?"
Jongin's eyebrows crease together, his lips curving down, and Kyungsoo really doesn't understand what's going on except Jongin's kind of cute even at times like these.
"You told Chanyeol you don't like younger people," Jongin huffs, crossing his arms.
Kyungsoo blinks. "I did?"
"You did."
"When?"
"Last night! When we were playing that stupid game he suggested and they asked for things you hate in a partner and you were all like, 'I don't date people younger than me'," Jongin says, throwing his hands up exasperatedly.
Kyungsoo just stares. He doesn't remember saying that at all. "I said I've never dated anyone younger than me," he corrects with a frown. He still doesn't understand why this matters though, especially to Jongin.
"Which means you don't like them or else you wouldn't have brought it up!"
"Not really. I just didn't know what else to say," Kyungsoo admits. "I like younger people. I mean, I like you."
Jongin looks like he's about to keep complaining when he realizes what Kyungsoo just said. "W-What?"
"I don't know if I'd date you but -"
Jongin falls back, a cry falling from his lips.
"- but I wouldn't mind, either," Kyungsoo finishes with an amused smile now.
Jongin pops back up, a small glimmer of hope in his eyes. "Really?"
"Sure," Kyungsoo says with a laugh. "But do you know what I really look for in a man?"
"What?" Jongin asks excitedly.
"Cooking skills."
Kyungsoo immediately regrets joking around like that because Jongin falls back again, crying and thrashing with the pillow about how hard cooking is. It takes Kyungsoo two cups of hot chocolate and a hug to get Jongin to stop whining.
(It also takes him a kiss to make Jongin believe that yes, he really is Kyungsoo's ideal type after all.)
a/n: omg this probably isn't what you were thinking of at all (because I feel like I totally missed your prompt and only applied the gist of it rather than the entirety of it to this drabble /sobs) but this is what I ended up writing and I didn't make kyungsoo feel like a pedo I'm sorry but that reminded me of Office Antics (which I adore) and I was like hmm so that's why OTL

Making bets with Baekhyun has its downfalls... and benefits. [for
rhewoon's prompt]
This is the first - and not to mention the last - time Kyungsoo ever makes a bet with Baekhyun. But honestly, he did not expect Sehun to ever make a move on Luhan in this century, what with the way he starts giggling like a school girl every time Luhan comes into his vicinity, rendering him speechless.
"Of all the times for Sehun to become a man..." Kyungsoo grumbles under his breath as Baekhyun cackles at his misfortune/Sehun's luck.
"I told Jongin about our bet and he's willing to teach you the dance, by the way," Baekhyun sings, still grinning in a way that can only be described as pure evil (well, at least to Kyungsoo).
"Can't we just bet money, I mean, I'm sure you need that more than you do my humility," Kyungsoo begs.
"Nope," Baekhyun says with a shake of his head. "I like this much more. I can get money any time, but humiliating you is a once-in-a-lifetime chance."
"What circle of hell did you crawl out of?" Kyungsoo cries as Baekhyun continues cackling.
.
.
.
Maybe Kyungsoo's just imagining things but Jongin seems really excited to teach him this dance.
"Dr. Feel Good is one of my favorite dances," he says matter-of-factly when Kyungsoo mentions it, but he feels like Jongin is holding back something with that creepy grin of his.
Kyungsoo later understands when Jongin shows him the part he'll be dancing in front of the rest of the group later this week.
"NO! No no no no no no no no, no times infinity, NO," Kyungsoo yells, shaking his head and backing away from the boy. "NO," he repeats one last time for emphasis, but that doesn't stop Jongin from inching closer and closer like a predator.
"You lost the bet to Baekhyun, and now you have to pay the price," Jongin reminds him with an evil grin. Kyungsoo swears they plotted this together.
"But that dance - it's so - so - so -"
"Sexy?" Jongin finishes for him. "I know, isn't it great?"
"NO! I don't do sexy -"
"Well you do me -"
"SHUT UP!"
Jongin rolls his eyes and crosses his arms. "Listen hyung, you don't have a choice. You should've known that the entire group was planning to lock Sehun and Luhan in a room together until they admitted their feelings. Granted, we didn't think things would escalate that quickly, but what do you know, moans were heard and -"
"ENOUGH ALREADY, I'LL DANCE THE STUPID DANCE IF YOU STOP TALKING ALREADY!" Kyungsoo yells, throwing his arms up in exasperation.
Jongin smirks. "Great!" he exclaims, clapping his hands together. "Let's get started."
.
.
.
Later that week, the boys all crowd into K's dorm, ready to see this "show" Baekhyun was bragging about. And well... it sure was a show alright.
In the midst of Kyungsoo's dancing - Baekhyun gives Jongin props on the short shorts Kyungsoo wears for them - Jongin, who had been watching hungrily and licking his lips throughout the entire show, couldn't seem to take it anymore. He jumps up for all to see and drags Kyungsoo to his chest by the waist.
"Not again!" Kyungsoo groans between their smashed lips. Jongin could care less though about his - or the rest of the members' - complaints.
"Ugh, gross!"
"Ew, get a room you guys!"
"My eyes, my innocent eyes!"
Baekhyun watches with slight amusement - and disgust - when Chanyeol leans over and murmurs, "Next time, I want to make a bet with you."
a/n: I used a dance cover of
video Dr. Feel Good by RaNia for reference simply because it was clearer to watch than the actual MV's. Good stuff to look at and imagine KaiSoo dancing to really. I mainly imagined him doing parts from 00:32 to around 1:05-ish? and then 1:18 to 1:31~ and ew how do you come up with titles

PG | humor | ~485w.
Jongin has two soft spots: Disney Princesses and Kyungsoo. But mainly just Kyungsoo. [for
norbert-and-fawkes's prompt]
It's embarrassing but Jongin was almost left breathless after his first meeting with Kyungsoo.
He looks like Snow White.
The thought would not leave his mind the entire time. For the rest of the day, he kept sneaking glances over Kyungsoo and his fair skin and perfectly pink lips. He was like Snow White's male form.
So, in a nutshell, he was Jongin's ideal partner who he should just whisk away now and get married to in a hut surrounded by seven dwarves. (Jongin's eyes dart around the room, trying to count out seven people. He concludes Chanyeol, Yifan, and Zitao are too tall to be dwarves anyway, and is satisfied with his success in finding his dwarves.)
Perhaps you should be concerned with the fact that Jongin may or may not like Disney Princesses more than a nineteen-year-old male should, but if you ever asked him why this was the case, his response would be clear:
"Hey, in my defense, I have a seven-year-old cousin who really likes princesses and I babysit her a lot and that's all she has to watch and so what maybe I watch them when she's already asleep and maybe I even borrow some to watch at home at night but there is nothing wrong with a little Disney love okay and those princesses are hot and no it's not weird because they're drawings."
Well, maybe not that clear after all. It's more rambling than anything else actually, but it's so annoying and persistent that you give up and let Jongin win because you don't want to hear him talk anymore.
After their first meeting, Jongin makes it his mission (and even dubs himself codename "Prince Charming") to make Kyungsoo fall in love with him.
Or at least be friends with him so he may seduce him. Either works.
It almost works until one night, when Kyungsoo falls asleep halfway into a movie in their shared room, Jongin tries kissing him awake.
It works, but instead of getting married and living happily ever after, Kyungsoo just stares at Jongin blankly with those huge (but cute) eyes of his.
"I - uh - you had something on your... lips... and -"
"You needed to take it off with yours?" Kyungsoo deadpans.
"Yes?" Jongin tries meekly.
Kyungsoo sighs. "It's okay. I found your Disney Princess stash a while ago, along with pictures of me taped to your DVD case for Snow White. Props on having a limited edition one, by the way."
"Thanks, it's a collector's item."
Kyungsoo laughs. "So is Snow White your favorite princess or something?"
Jongin shrugs. "I guess. I mean, they're all pretty hot though, and Ariel has a nice set of -" He stops when he sees Kyungsoo's unamused stare.
"Yes?" he answers instead.
"Good." Now it's Jongin's turn to stare as Kyungsoo's lips form a grin and his arms snake around Jongin's neck. "Because I've always wanted a Prince Charming."
a/n: lmao get it because d.o. white kind of rhymes with snow white so yeah I'm not funny I know but at least I try for you guys OTL || prompter was inspired by
this piece of art that is simply amazing. || btw snow white's prince does not have a name omg how tiring /huffs
the dj is mine
PG-13 | au | ~290w
They belong to no one but each other and the music. [for
lemmebeurstar's prompt]
All eyes are the dance floor's main attraction. His moves are precise and sensuous, dancing with the music, not just to it. Several club goers try their hand at dancing with him, but he stays focused in his own little bubble. But when he does look up, his eyes follow the one that controls him.
Those not staring at the dancer have their eyes on the DJ, whose mask covers everything on the upper half of his face but his eyes, which are focused on one thing and one thing only. He finds pleasure in the fact that he controls the beat, thus controlling the way the dancer's body moves.
Sometimes, the dancer teases him, moves even slower than usual, exaggerating every move, every hip thrust. He runs his tongue over his lips, biting back a grin as he sees the other do the same.
But the DJ has a few tricks up his sleeves. He knows the dancer likes slower music, likes to take his time dancing, so sometimes he plays a fast song just to play with him. And right when the dancer gets into it, he changes it again, enjoying the flicker of annoyance that lasts for a brief moment as he readjusts.
It's more than a game, though; it's a mark of ownership. Only Jongin, the dancer with tan skin and hazy eyes, can catch the DJ's eyes. Only Kyungsoo, the DJ with fair skin and plump lips, can control the dancer's every move. And that's how they like it, that's how they want it.
Everyone's eyes are on them, but their eyes are only on each other, a million secrets, whispers, and promises exchanged in glances.
Because only the dancer can say, "The DJ is mine."
a/n: this one was actually really nice to think of once I figured out what to write to correlate with wonder girl's "the dj is mine". this doesn't go along with the mv at all, but yeah. this is what I got from brainstorming lol the shortest but I like this one a lot actually like maybe enough to write a full-length fic for it one day. one day. lol.
a hundred points to kyungsoo
PG | fluff, humor | ~650w
If their relationship were a game, then Kyungsoo's at Level 1000 while Jongin is barely done with the tutorial. [for
uselessminds's prompt]
If their relationship were a game, Jongin would be losing to Kyungsoo, negative fifty points to a bazillion and one. But then again, it's not really a game because they're not (officially) in a relationship after all. So why does Jongin feel like he's losing nonetheless?
And he tries so hard, too. He flirts with the other members whenever he can onstage, purposely lingering when he touches them, or leaning in just a bit too close to say something stupid just so Kyungsoo would see. Even in the dorms, he would put up an act and start laughing at everything Sehun says (which, 90% of the time, aren't even funny) when Kyungsoo's around.
But no, Kyungsoo doesn't even pretend to care. He just smiles like he has some stupid, little secret and walks on. Sometimes Jongin would even call him over and ask something really weird (and false), like, "Doesn't Sehun's hair look great today?"
And Kyungsoo would still just smile and nod politely. "His hair always looks nice," Kyungsoo points out, beaming at Sehun, who has the audacity to smile back when he's supposed to be Jongin's play thing, not Kyungsoo's. And in the end, Jongin feels more jealous than Kyungsoo acts, and ends up punching the maknae in the shoulder for smiling like that at Kyungsoo.
"Ouch," Sehun complains, pouting. "You know, all because Kyungsoo's better with his feelings than you are, doesn't mean you have to take them out on all of us instead."
Jongin snorts. "Says the boy who almost bit off Minseok's hand for trying to feed Luhan."
"That was totally unnecessary," Sehun deadpans. "Anyway, you're lucky to even have Kyungsoo. I mean, everybody wants him -"
"Do you want him?" Jongin demands with a hard glare, ready to beat Sehun up if the answer is yes.
Sehun rolls his eyes. "No, but Chanyeol -"
"Chanyeol has Baekhyun," Jongin corrects quickly.
"He still thinks Kyungsoo is cute, though, and Baekhyun agrees." Sehun ignores the growl that escapes Jongin's lips. "And Junmyeon really likes talking to Kyungsoo, if you catch my drift." Sehun is totally lying through his teeth, which should be obvious by his grin, but Jongin is too caught up on the thought of someone else taking his Kyungsoo that he doesn't notice.
Jongin's jaw drops. "But-But I called dibs on Kyungsoo from day one! And Junmyeon respected them and promised he wouldn't make a move, and oh God I should've known he liked spending too much time talking to Kyungsoo. Who likes talking to Kyungsoo after all for that long?"
Sehun's about to answer you when Kyungsoo enters the room.
"Junmyeon and I are going to be talking about schedules if you guys want to come listen and -"
He's interrupted when Jongin stands up, face blank, walks over, and grabs Kyungsoo by the wrist, dragging them to their room and slamming the door behind him. Sehun hears Kyungsoo's protest, followed by muffled sounds that soon turn into something much more... sensuous.
Junmyeon enters the room a little later. "Where did Kyungsoo go?"
Sehun points to their room with a white sock on its doorknob now.
"Oh. Well, it was about time," Junmyeon says, rolling his eyes. "But I wish he could've done this earlier, because we really need to talk about schedules and planning."
Sehun shrugs. "Better late than never."
Later that night, in the confines of Kyungsoo and Jongin's shared room, Kyungsoo leans over, head resting on his hand, and asks, with a smirk that Jongin's never seen before, "So where do we stand now?"
"Dating?" Jongin asks hopefully.
"Well, yeah, but I mean point-wise," Kyungsoo says, rolling his eyes. "I'd say I just won a hundred points right here."
Jongin blinks. "Is this a game or something?"
Kyungsoo laughs, patting Jongin's thigh as if he were a little boy (which he kind of is). "Honey, where have you been?"
Jongin thinks, Well apparently I'm on level one now.
a/n: prompter inspired by
this~ lol which I totally agree with btw because jongin is so obvious it hurts my heart and kyungsoo is too wanted to even give a damn. except you know, he does. he's just better at hiding it than jongin. lol my original idea for this was actually pretty different but meh.
grocery lists
PG-13 | fluff, domestic!au | ~275w.
Believe it or not, shopping with Jongin is even worse than living with him. [for
changdictator's prompt; an extension of it]
"Hey, that looks good."
"Oh, that too. We should get that."
"Isn't it a magical thing when your cereal comes with a prize in every box?"
Kyungsoo sighs. Honestly, he doesn't know why he agreed to let Jongin come grocery shop with him when he knew the younger would only be a pain.
"Jongin, I already told you. We're only buying the things on this list. That is why there is a list to begin with. Or else you would go off and buy everything you saw that and -"
"Oh my gosh, are those Twinkies?" Jongin asks, cutting him off. The younger wanders over to the sweets section, leaving Kyungsoo with the cart.
Honestly, who needs children when you have Jongin instead?
"We're not getting those!" Kyungsoo reminds him, but the boy seems lost in his own world. When Jongin comes back with a box of Twinkies, Kyungsoo sighs.
"They're on sale," Jongin whispers, an oddly joyful gleam in his eyes.
"They're not on the list," Kyungsoo deadpans.
"Screw the list!" Jongin exclaims, garnering a few stares from around the store. After all, you don't see two attractive, (somewhat) grown boys arguing over a box of twinkies everyday.
"We are on a budget, Jongin," Kyungsoo growls. "We need this list to survive. Now it's either the Twinkies or -"
"Can't we just cross lube off the list and replace it with Twinkies? We have enough at home to last us the week," Jongin says a little too loudly.
Kyungsoo ends up going home with nothing but a mourning Jongin, too embarrassed to stay long enough to buy the rest of the groceries they actually need. Looks like Jongin will be going without a lot of things tonight.
a/n: not requested by cha, but this goes with the oneshot I wrote for her? it was like a deleted not-yet-written idea/scene because I felt like it didn't go with the rest of the story. anyway, so yeah. because grocery shopping together is pretty domestic, you guys. (but this was so stupid omg I'm sorry.) and this fic that I am talking about right now should be up by (HOPEFULLY) tomorrow. or the day after that. SOON I SWEAR ;_; I need it to be edited, so yeah. that's why.
♦ overall a/n:
- umm I hope I didn't completely disappoint the requesters OTL
- some of these were humor, not fluff (which was what I was aiming for), omg but oh well
- thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed~
