[After this thread, Kurt just couldn't take it anymore. Ugh, Rachel and her conceited, bossy, ego-centric, badly dressed self. Why did he have to be stuck here with her of all people? Well, Ms. Pillsbury was there too, but among his peers, he was stuck with Rachel. Where were Mercedes, and Finn, and Tina, and, well, anyone else except Puck? She had ( Read more... )

gokudera, sora, ms. pillsbury, other father, wicked is always appropriate, rachel, soubi, afuganisu-tan, singing on the network

[Because Gokudera is SO EFFING TIRED OF BEING FORCED TO HEAR PEOPLE SING, have him banging out Chopsticks on the piano for your listening pleasure.

He officially hates you guys. 8|]

[It's okay, Kurt hates you too now. I mean, first the journal posts without his permission, and now SOMEONE IS BANGING CHOPSTICKS AT HIM.]

Um, excuse me, but that was completely uncalled for.

[For what it's worth, Gokudera thinks that Chopsticks is an affront to both the piano as an instrument and music in general. But it was an appropriate punishment.

By way of response, he starts to play Heart and Soul instead. And while this sounds much more musical, it's still Heart and Soul, so it's still incredibly annoying.]

[Kurt couldn't agree more. He was so glad when he advanced beyond Chopsticks. Chopsticks is not even music. Heart and Soul, on the other hand -]

Heart and soul, I fell in love with you,
Heart and soul, the way a fool would do,
Madly...
Because you held me tight,
And stole a kiss in the night

[Of course Kurt knows the words. It's an adorably romantic song. He won't force you to listen to the whole thing though; he just felt like being obnoxious. He pauses though.]

Wait, there's a piano here?

[Well that backfired. He stops playing.]

Yeah. In the music room on the first floor.

Thank you. At least this place has some of the comforts of home.

[ALL PIANO PLAYERS ARE RELATED. I mean. In light of the fact that he was considerate enough to tell him where the piano is, he guesses he could apologize. He supposes.]

...Sorry. We didn't mean to post that to the network. And considering Rachel was obnoxious enough the first time, it might have been irritating to have two in a row.

[...Okay, he doesn't hate you after all.] Yeah well...the communicators do that. There's not really any way to avoid it.

[As close to apologizing as he gets under most circumstances.]

You play the piano, I guess?

[Good, because he doesn't really hate you either. But he sure hates being here.] Great. Another one of the many marvels of inter-dimensional kidnapping, I suppose? [Oh, the delicious sarcasm.]

I do. I have since I was little. I take it you play as well?

Having people see and hear things you don't want them to? Yeah. Seems that way.

Yeah, since I was three or four. Not as much as I used to anymore, but it passes the time here.

This place gets worse by the day. But I guess it wouldn't be kidnapping if we liked it, would it?

I know the feeling. Between glee, and school, and the Cheerios, and everything else in my life, it's sort of fallen by the wayside.

You get used to it after awhile. Complacency's really the only way to survive here, most of the time.

The Cheerios?

That's depressing, but unfortunately it's starting to sound like the most reasonable option. Not that we really have any options.

Yes. ...It's our school's cheerleading squad.

Yeah, pretty much. It's not that bad here all the time, but it's pretty fucking terrible other times.

Oh, okay. [Hey, he won't judge that. He believes in aliens after all.] So you're in high school?

I was told there are events, and that they get worse than the last one, but it seems people would rather I learn from experience than give me any kind of details.

I am. I'm a Sophomore, a 10th grader. What about you? [He doesn't sound too old, after all.]

The events are unpredictable since they're based on memories. Once we thought we were the person we hate the most. Once there were zombies. Once we all switched genders.

I'm technically in my second year of middle school, but I'm sixteen. [Yeah idk, his canon is weird on this topic.]

And those really all came from people's memories? [He thinks for a second.] I guess that makes sense with that other thing. It must have been a memory of someone's family then, right? Honestly though, those all sound extremely terrible for a whole variety of reasons, and I'm glad I missed every single one of them.

Oh. That makes us the same age then. [l-lol I know the feeling. <3]
