The Mountain Goats
Went to see The Mountain Goats at the El Rey theater in LA last week. Awesome times were had.
He played pretty much all my favorite songs, plus a whole bunch off the new album. No High Hawk Season though baww.
No Children is always a good sing-along.
Played some cool covers.

Best Ever Death Metal Band In Denton. First Mountain Goats song I'd ever heard, way back in high school. Fell in love immediately.
And then all off my hopes all of my dreams, he played Going to Georgia. Favorite of favorites, classic of classics. I haven't heard it live in YEARS so this was SUCH a treat. Sounded so amazing since he plays with a full band now.

In other news, AX is this weekend. I'm only going Sunday. It feels weird to be missing so much of it, since it used to be the crowning achievement of my year. Gonna wear SB3 alternate Date and die of heatstroke. Will probably bring Psyche Izaya with, to also die of heatstroke in.
In other OTHER news, Japan is LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AWAY. Holy shit how did that happen. You guys better tell me what presents you want<333 Also, I'm open to shop for you if anyone wants anything special out there.
