The entire back wall, where Allana's hospital bed was pushed against it, was covered in pictures the four year old had drawn. Pictures of her Mama, her father, Grandpa Anakin, Grandpa, Miss Shego, Miss Allison, and Amandabeth.
Her tongue was poking out between her teeth as she carefully coloured in a picture in her colouring book. Her left hand drifted up and scratched idly at the bandage on her head. Her stitches were itchy.
Amandabeth stirred at her feet before rolling onto her back and kicking in the air. Allana laughed fondly.
This place was boring.
