Who: Future Spike & John [Closed]
What: Trying to stop the crazy
Where: IDK wherever Future Crazy Spike is hiding.
John stumbled through the hallways, searching frantically for any sign of the vampire. He was still injured pretty severely and it wasn't easy to move quickly, but he didn't care. He needed to find Spike.
He tried to stick to the shadows, hoping he wouldn't be found by any of the menacing freaks that had since stormed the base.
"Spike? Mate?" He called softly, poking his head into various rooms and areas. "Spike if you're there, say something!"
He wasn't sure the creature would actually respond, even if he heard him. He had sounded... pretty bad off before. John was worried that whatever was wrong with him wouldn't be able to be reversed. And in this state, with the current level of danger on the base, Spike wouldn't last very long.
All the more reason to find him quickly. And really, John was just glad that he was alive.
It was entirely strange to him, this feeling of remorse. Of course he had felt bad at times, like when he had killed Jack, or tried to at least. But he also had felt that it was Jack's own fault for being dead, not his. Now? Now he felt responsible for Spike's death. And he hadn't even done anything. But if Spike hadn't tried so hard to save him, he would have been able to get out in time, and he'd still be here, and-
No. He was here. That was the incredible part. John had seen him vanish before his eyes, but somehow he was back. His Spike. He was certain it wasn't another copy. He wasn't going to question how it had happened, but his Spike was back. And he needed to find him.
