almost home
we are in salina, kansas right now. We are pulled off to the side of the road because brandon is working on an emergency for orlando work. Soooo I'm a little bored. Lol.. There is snow on the side of the road, so I let the kids run around and play in it for a bit. They were excited and happy, until they pissed me off and it was time to get back in the car. Ehhhh it happeens. At least they got to let off some steam for a bit. Soooo we are just waiting now.
we are about 200 miles from the colorado line, and then another 300 miles or so to denver. Well I think that's me padding the time a bit. We have made great progress today, so hopefully we can keep it up.
I'm excited about getting there... Although I am homesick for orlando. I'm missing my friends.... Alot. ::sigh::
I just have to keep thinking about the good things that will happen for us when we get out there and get settled. The plan is to stay with my dad for a couple months, while we save up to get our own place. We want a rent to own because we want something that is ours. I want a purple room, the kids want pink and blue. I want to make it my own...
soo that's the plan. The jeep is still having issues, but we are pushing it anyway. We ordered a transmission off of ebay and we are having it shipped to my dads. We are going to have someone put it in for us, so we don't have to worry about that. And then... Then the jeep will be done! I can't wait, I'm tired of fixing this thing. Brandon says its a really good truck, and it has a powerfulengine. He wants to make it his toy car for working on so he can learn all the parts, and try to get his mechanics license. I'm excited for him.
mmmmm I'm hungry and need food. Hopefully we can get on the road soon....
