well, i'm safe and sound back in the states for a while. two European trips in the span of a few months is nutty. i got home from Paris late... Sunday? i can't really remember. i had an awesome time. pictures? maybe when i find a few.

Paris is smelly and dirty. even though it has some of the coolest tourist-y things to amuse yourself with the real fun is attempting to find the holes in the walls. which we succeeded in finding a few times. the best part of the trip though, hands down, was taking a train to the south of France and hanging out with a friend of a friend on her family's vineyard. WINE EVERYDAY ALL DAY! i couldn't escape it. and even though they only spoke french we found ways of communicating. namely, pantomime.

as for the post below this one... that was my good pal Eli. i checked lj to see the haps and left it up on her computer. she asked if she could update for me and i figured why not? so she did. although, 80% of her post is true. long story.

thanks everybody for the ass kickin' b-day messages. <3'd them!

ok. i have work to do and this update isn't coming along as gracefully as i would have liked.

Au revoir!

here's some pics i stole from Andrew (a Paris pal):

the Champs Elysees. it just gets fancier the further you go.

the Champs Elysees as seen from the Arc de Triomphe.

part of the group at the Louvre. from the left: Andrew, Sarah, Autumn, Eli, and Jackie (soon to be roommate.) man, the Louvre takes it out of you.

i call this "Parisian Sunset." from the left: Sarah, Sara, Marnie, and Krisse (the other soon to be roommate.)

and this is the last night out at Via Palissy (tiny little eatery on some tiny street.) 3 bottles of wine later, we all forgot how much we had hated eachother 30 minutes before when we were lost and cranky.

more when i get em!
