Amen, Amen, Amen!

As I was reading each line of your entry, I would start to have a thought about it, and read the next line, which was my thought, line after line after line...

I personally would not choose to go on Oprah. I *do* sometimes have concerns that in attempting to educate, we put ourselves out there, and the public just gets a chance to see more freaks. (By we, I mean all non-traditional folk in general). BUT, that said, I don't have the right to say others can't. He felt the need to share HIS story. That's all it was, HIS. I remember when another friend had his baby, and the whole FTM crowd freaked. It's sad.

It's sad that we eat our own. It's sad that when something outrageous, or stupendous or just different is happening in your life, the very community you expect to support you is the one carrying the picket signs against you! It's as if your way of being queer somehow threatens my way of being queer, so clearly, you are just wrong!

Ok, I realized I was just rambling and saying the same thing over again, and partly was because I knew I was writing in your journal, and it felt like talking to you, and I miss you, so, you know, I didn't want to stop. XOXOXOXO
