(no subject)

It didn't matter so much anymore that, in the film, it hadn't been Jim's child that Karen was pregnant with. Too much of what Pam had seen had been a shock that she was left stil reeling as she made her way back to Jim's hut, hoping, for once, that Sam would be being watched by someone else. She didn't know yet what she had to say, but she had to say something, that much she was sure of. She hadn't felt quite like this since she'd shown up here, just after doing the coal walk. It wasn't quite the same, but the idea was. He had to know how she felt, how she really felt, especially in light of everything she'd just found out, not to mention how hard it had been for those few seconds she had thought that Jim and Karen had stayed together back home.

"Hey, Jim?" she called as she walked into the hut, just a little bit cautious. She'd wanted to have something figured out by now, a good way to approach the subject, but she was left at a loss. She would just have to go for it, she figured, and hope that it wasn't too much, that it didn't screw anything up. "You here?"
