Pam still didn't quite know how Jim had talked her into this, but it was too late to back out now. With the appearance of the new building -- and that was something she wasn't going to be thinking too hard about, that was for sure -- there had been no reason to put off their plan for him to try to teach her to play basketball, and so with Sam being watched, they headed over.
"I'm telling you, I'm going to suck at this," she told him as they walked inside, not for the first time. She'd never been in before, with as new as the building was, and if she didn't think too hard about it, it was kind of quaint in how old-fashioned it looked. At the very least, it was fitting for a place like this. Everything had to have some twist to it around here, after all; if it didn't, it would certainly have been suspect. "And you don't get to laugh at me when I can't even throw the ball."
