Holler all five avid lj readers (shout out to Joanna!). You all know I began my classes this week. Hair school has been good so far, but man is it tiring. 7 hours a day in a classroom can be grueling. There are only 2 other girls in my class. They are both nice, except for the fact that one of them is a racist who hates what she refers to as "illegals." What kills me is that her grandparents are immigrants, what the hell? She has made so many offensive comments, I had to try so hard not to just start yelling at her-I mean, it was only the third day today and I don't want to be labeled the bitch. But seriously, if you know someone is of a specific ethnicity, why would you make comments about it?
Anyways, I had an awesome time in NYC this past weekend. Nick Swardson was hysterical and my friends were all lovely as ever. We enjoyed some drinks and good company. Me and Carrie got awesome tattoos that we love. Here is a bloddy picture of it! It is on my ribs, fyi.
Also, today in school we did pin curls! Which I really enjoyed. The mannequins we get have human hair, but it's gross and nasty with dandruff and split ends. So I styled it as best I could, check out the voluminous curls! The first pic is with all the pin curls in and the second and third are the final product. Also, blow-drying hair is really hot, I was sweating from it....eek!
p.s. my mannequin is apparently named Shelby. I need a new name for her. Preferably something unisex, it will eventually be a man.
