35W bridge collapse
Suddenly my last post, with all my complaining about wet basements and cleaning up of dog poo, seems completely trivial and ridiculous.
I know my family is safe, which is a huge comfort, but I have no idea about all of my friends, some of whom may very well have been traveling home from work on or near that bridge at that time. It's all very scary. I suppose things like this happen everywhere, all the time--just not usually so close to home. I'm feeling pretty glad that my college friends and I went to the Twins game LAST night.
I very much hope that all of you in this area are okay, as well as anyone you know who may have been involved.
