Sunday Morning Music
It's almost a tradition on sunny Sunday mornings like today. At some point, I'll put something on the stereo and we'll sit on the couch listening and sipping coffee. Today's album was Peter Gabriel (3) on vinyl, which features Mr. Robert Fripp as guest guitarist. It is a stark and delicious disc, very percussive with sharp minimalist guitars. It was a truly enjoyable experience.
I think a ritual like this is a wonderful way to refocus one's energy, after all, in today's busy world, music has become something that's on in the background while we do something else. It's always good to bring it back to the forefront.
