Huzzah!
Since my last post, I may or may not have accomplished or experienced one or more of the following instances:
1. Went to school for the student teaching, and spent a week in inservice doing mostly either nothing, busywork, or being in meetings.
2. Have had two days thus far with students in class, mostly observing and mildly contributing in several classes.
3. Am about 95% sure there is someone teaching at this school who I went to high school with and had not seen basically since graduation. This person, if he or she exists, may not even recognize me, although I'd be surprised, but I may not have had a chance to run into him/her.
4. Purchased a laptop and laser printer over the tax free weekend. Only the laptop would have been tax free, so I may have had to spend about 1300$ for printer, laptop, ms office, and insurance. I probably didn't find a 1GB thumb drive for 10$, though.
5. Had headaches messing with Windows Vista on said laptop. Maybe not anticipating grief while installing "Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007" (Can they make up their mind who it's for?)
6. Have been waking up at 6:00 monday through friday and arriving at school at about 7.
That's about it.
