what a crazy 24 hours, and not in a good way

Yesterday at 6pm we went to see Riley's pediatrician because he couldn't stop coughing. He wasn't wheezing too bad but with his history I was unsure. We did an atrovent+albuterol neb followed by another albertol neb and orapred in office to get things going and hopefully prevent him from getting hospitalized, but his doc did give me the choice of

well he's not ALL better, but he is much improved and we are tapering off the meds :) at least one more day in the hospital but if there are no hitches we should be going home on Friday
