I have a lot of pictures from the last few days
Darci shared her hot chocolate with Julianna (I refused to let Riley share he just can't afford to get sick)
Darci found a dandelion and brought it over to share with Juliana so they could make a wish, Darci told me her wish was for Juliana to move closer.
Riley was so tuckered out he fell asleep on the dinner table, first time he's ever done this. I was talking with him and then all of a sudden he was quiet, I looked over and I thought he was just watching tv, as his head was turned away from me, but then I realized he'd fallen asleep!
Then on wed we went to supercuts to get Darci a hair cut she's been wanting, Riley refused to close his umbrella once we got inside, he was sure it was going to start raining in supercuts.
Riley really enjoyed watching the trains, it was rush hour and no one had flung them selves on the tracks today so there were a lot of them.

finally it was Darci's turn, here's her before picture
getting the ends trimmed, not a major haircut, but the people at supercuts thought it was her first haircut since I was taking so many pictures.
Thanksgiving day at Grammi Betty's and Grandpa Jack's
the feast, we had turkey meatloaf, and turkey drumsticks, stuffing gravy wheat rolls cranberry sauce, boiled broccoli
it was yummy (and a st pauli girls beer)

putting together the tree, I love fake trees! no having to buy one, refiling water, its fabulous!
spreading out the branches this was a very cheap tree and its on its 3rd chrismas now, I think after i'm out of school we are going to have to retire it and get a more expensive fake tree but this works well enough for now.

the angel didn't stay on the tree to well so santa gets to be up there this year.
our christmas made over mantel. Every year my aunt sends us some cool christmas nicknack, its very fun to get them out and play with them. Darci loves the nutcraker which is from Ryan's youth. There's a lttle matchbox jingle bells that when you open it sings and has a little mini scene that moves, its really cool, one of the things my Aunt Dawn sent.
I love christmas, and I love putting up the tree, looking at all the special ornaments and remembering where they came from. The kids are having a great time with the little people christmas sets, Riley is in love with the xmas train, aka santa's train.
then tonight we made pepperoni pinwheels, though mine didn't turn out as round and perfect as the onesn the book, go figure, but we had a grand time making the dough kneeding it letting it rise, quite a messy fun time. (thanks mom for the yeast and pepperoni!)
