Ori had slept for a long time- years, maybe, the house was looking broken- and now she was staring at the wall, occasionally petting Morrigan's head. Running like she had had been idiotic. What had it gained her? Nothing. What had it lost her?
Well, if she went out into the universe now, there'd be no one she knew. Everything would have died, maybe the universe suffered its final heat death...
Well, no, probably not, she'd have died in that, too. But she felt older, deep inside. She'd been sitting for a long time, too, and her time telling skills had never been good. She needed an automatic calendar- she should have thought of that earlier.
She could go into the Nexus at any time she wanted. Maybe it was worth it. But maybe not. She didn't want to see Roy again. She didn't. Honest.
