Firstly, an update on Raw Tuition, which ws the youth group showcase (I have no idea why it was called that, it basically means "unadulterated fee). It was very long (3 hours), but most of it was good. One guy, who calls himself and his guitar backup
Acoustic Error , are simply amazing. They're playing at the local tav in a few weeks and Danni and I might go. The rumor is that the lead vocalist auditioned for X Factor (which is what American Idol is based off of) but Simon Cowell didn't like him. We don't know if the rumor is true or not, though.
Secondly, the trip to Walsall was interesting, to say the least. I got through it and managed to have a good time, but going out is definitely not something I would want to do on a regular basis. It's fun for about 3 hours, but after that it just gets boring and I want to go home. Some of the guys were reeeeeally wasted, but at least Steve wasn't as bad as last time. Last time Danni told me illegal substances were involved and that he drank some cologne :-/
Thirdly, a brand new door has been installed. Now Danni and I can rest easy at night. Even if the downstairs door is not secure, our new door will be. Our old door could be kicked in without any effort (as has been proven the coulple of times Danni forgother keys).
Lastly, I finally got my hair cut. I was going to try to grow it out, but I couldn't make myself do it. Plus, I wanted to look good when we went out in Walsall. So, even though there are pics of my short hair above, I made a before and after thingy as well.
So, that's it for now. Until next time . . .
