a few of my favorite things: december
Since it's nearly the end of the month it's time to share some of my favorite things from the past 30 days. This is a monthly series in which I share some of my favorite beauty, music, games andwhatever I happened to fall in love with this month. Why? Why not! In sharing these things I hope you might find something you would be interested in trying, and maybe finding a product that you love! * Fuzzy socks : Fuzzy socks are my favorite things ever. I usually always ask for them around Christmas time, because you can't have enough fuzzy socks. My favorite are the kind from Bath and Body Works, because they're SUPER soft, but really any kind will do. Now, because I live in the desert and Summertime can be between 115-120 degrees outside, I wouldn't wear these all year, but in the Wintertime, these are lovely.
*Sheer Love: Sheer love is a fragrance from Victoria Secret. I love it because it just smells feminine to me. It's very floral, so if that's not your thing, you probably won't like it, but I don't think it's an overpowering floral. It's been one of my favorite scents to use this past month.
*Oatmeal: I've eaten so much oatmeal lately, and I can't get enough of it. It's filling, and I love getting to add toppings and brown sugar on top. Oatmeal as been one of my "go to" breakfast items lately. Now, same thing with the fuzzy socks, I most likely won't eat oatmeal in the Summer, but it's a perfect cold weather, filling, and cozy breakfast.
*Vera Bradley hair elastics: I got a pack of these in my stocking at Christmas, and have been wearing them every day since. I wear my hair up nearly every single day. These don't pull my hair, don't give me a headache, and since my hair is dark, the colors look great. I've been really happy with these, and think they hold my hair pretty darn well.
*Jelly Splash: Jelly splash is an app that I downloaded for my iPhone. It's a "match three" type game, so if you like those games, you'll like this. It's addicting, has plenty of levels to play, and I think it's fun. And, it's free!
*Quiz Up: Quiz Up is also an app on my phone that I downloaded for free. It's a quiz game that you play matched up with another player. The great thing about this game is that really there is a category of questions for EVERYTHING from wine to movies to sports to snacks. I think this is another addicting game, and have often found myself up late into the wee hours, playing this game. With both these apps, it's a good thing I'm on break from work, otherwise I don't think I would ever get anything done.
