Beyond pissed right now. We just had our 341 meeting at the bankruptcy court, and we were informed by the trustee of the court that our case was DISMISSED. Our lawyer had no record of it in our file. But I received the letter, and when I did I emailed their paralegal asking her what it was about. She stated that they were dismissing the garnishments from Jon's pay check & not dismissing the case.
When we first arrived at the courthouse our lawyer stated that the paralegal that we were working with no longer works for them. So as you can imagine, he was livid when he realized that she misled me about the order.
Now everything has to be refilled, and we have to retake the credit counselling course because its been more than 6 months. Thankfully the firm is going to pay both fees.
At this point, it's the least they can do!
